FEEDING
To provide at least one main meal a day for clients through the meal-on-wheels, meal centres and meal kitchens. Through the meal-on-wheels, food is taken and served to the destitute with smiles thereby bringing smiles to their faces. The Meal Centres are restaurants where the destitute comes into a conducive environment to eat free of charge. The Meal Kitchens are locations where the food is cooked and beggars are free to come and eat.
EDUCATION
We provide education for the young poor thereby ensuring a Better Tomorrow for future generations.
SKILL TRAINING
We provide skill training for our clients so that they can earn their living using the acquired skill by the end of one year.
CHILDREN’S HOME
We provide homes for abandoned and orphans.
ACCOMODATION
we ensure that each client has a safe roof over his or her head.
COR JESU ROTATIONARY HEALTH
We provide FREE medical services to meet clients’ physical, physiological, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
HOSPITAL TREATMENT
we ensure the clients have access to hospital treatment and facilities in case of serious ailment.
HOME VISITATION
we visit known clients at least once weekly.
PRISON VISITATION
we minister to prisoners and those awaiting trial to promote their physical, psychological and spiritual health.
BUSINESS FUNDING
After 4 counseling sessions with the client or skill-training the client, is given a small capital to set up his or her own business.
FOLLOW UP
we support the client who has become independent after our care, on his/her way towards self-reliance by steadily integrating him/her into society.
FARMING
we farm to provide food for clients and for fund raising to make Pro Labore Dei more self-reliant.
LEPER COLONY
Since leprosy is considered that ‘chronic &unclean disease’ which people disassociate from, we felt the need to extend a hand of fellowship to such persons living with the pain, stigmatization, and degradation of leprosy. Providing food and basic health care facilities for them, and sponsoring the health bills of those going in for amputation / artificial limbs replacement when necessary.
WIDOWS LEAGUE
provide help and care to Widows around us in any way we can e.g. funding for business, clothing and companionship.
BURY THE DEAD
Pro Labore Dei provides a decent burial for the poor dead.
FUND RAISING
The objective of this is to generate sufficient funds and materials to cater for the destitute in all aspects of our work. For example, we produce articles like soap, rosaries, wine, ginger drink etc. that are sold to raise funds to feed the hungry and to meet the financial demands in all areas of the work.
