In January 2011 Chinelo Uchendu traveled to Uganda and Pro Labore Dei was established in Lungujja area of Kampala Uganda. In February 2011, Evans Mwange, a missionary from Kenya went to Uganda to continue where Chinelo left off.
The work started by doing the street feeding in such areas as Kisenyi , Katwe and the streets of Kampala . A small nursery school was also opened in Kisenyi .The nursery school shifted to a new location and the small Nursery School that was started by Evans grew into a big primary school with almost 350 children. Other activities carried out by our branch are; Street feeding, Hospital visitation, Prison visitation, Tailoring and Farming.
In 2015, we bought land in Matugga and built on it home for our children and a school. The Children moved in December 2015 and the school was moved from Kampala to Matugga in time for the new school session, which began February 2016.
In February 2020 we added Secondary level to our school.
